smbmount/smbfs is linux only. Someone mentioned a BSD variant too of
smbfs, but it is as far as I can tell unrelated.
(btw, the BSD licence would allow making a Solaris port of the BSD
 version, I believe. The GPL probably does not allow a port of the Linux
 version. Not that either would be an easy thing to port ...)

Sharity (-light) may work on Solaris.
