1) 6.0 is old. You should grab 7.0
2) How about posting your config to the list so we can see if there's anything amiss.

  Help Help Help1
I have just setup my first Linux (Red Hat 6.0) server hopping it can replace my old Netware 3.12 server in my little office. I followed all the instruction. Load up SAMBA, set the TCP/IP in my Win98 station. But there's just no sign of the Linux Server from my Win98 Station. I've check the eth0 (ping & ifconfig) which seems fine. My station used to connect to my Netware (IPX) should be fine. What have I done wrong? How can I diagnos the problem. I heard there is station & server distributions out there. What are the differences? Please help, cause I've been scraching my head for three weeks now.
