Too Many Connections on Samba-CVS-131200

Hello!

I am currently using Samba-CVS-131200 on a RedHat Linux machine. It is
configured as the PDC of a domain.

It appears that once in a random while, smbd will complain that there
are too many connections and reject any more connections until I restart
smbd. During the time when it is complaining about too many connections,
there is just about nobody using samba and smbstatus also shows up
nothing.

When using smbclient on the server, it shows the following :-

server:~# smbclient -L abcdef
added interface ip=1.1.1.3 bcast=1.1.255.255 nmask=255.255.0.0
Got a positive name query response from 1.1.1.3 (1.1.1.35 )
Password:
Anonymous login successful
Domain=[HOME] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 2.2.0-alpha1]
tree connect failed: ERRSRV - ERRnoresource (No resources currently
available for request.)

Attached to this email is the debug level 3 log.smbd and also an strace
of the samba process when the error occured.

In my smb.conf, max connections is undefined and testparm showed that it
is 0 which according to the docs imply unlimited connections.

This problem only occured in recent versions of the CVS as last week's
CVS doesn't appear to have this problem.

Can someone help me out on this?

Many thanks in advance!

BTW, is there any email address or mailing list for bug reporting? It
appears that samba-bugs is no longer in use as when I send the bug
report to samba-bugs at samba.org, I get a reply email asking me to post
directly to the samba mailing list.

Thanks!
