Resource PAssword Prompt without Username place

Hi!

I just created a user with a password file.. The problem is that when I click on the Linuxbox Icon under Networking Neighbourhood...I get a password Prompt saying...

you must supply a password to make this connection.

Resource:    \\DESAI\IPC$
Password:    

Thus I don't get a username password kind of prompt..where I can supply the username and the password..



Can anybody help me please....
