mounting shares in fstab

Thanks for the reply,
fmask and dmask don't seem to work. It still sets the file and dir mask to 755

here is an entry:-

//webserver/misc /mnt/misc smbfs 
username=guest,guest,ip=192.168.1.1,netbiosname=RobDebian,fmask=0000,dmask=0000

i've tried several combinations of f and d mask

any help would be appreciated
