No I find WIndows2000 inbuilt SMB client & server to be good enough ;-)

Sorry couldn't resist.

Running 2.0.7 in a workgroup environment with 9x, NT4 and 2000 clients. 
No major problems.
Although no PDC support for windows 2000 in 2.0.x
