Logging Problem from NT4

Dear Sir

I have a problem with logging in from NT computer
i set the encrypt to yes but when i enter my username and password
i got a messag that "Incorrect password or unknown username"

I have service pack 3.0 on NT

Can you tell me the steps of creating accounts for users on Linux machine that can access to Linux shares from NT computers?
