Samba --with-quotas stable?

Hi all,

I'm setting up a Samba server for student use on a Linux box. We're
using Linux's quota system, so it would appear to make sense to
compile Samba with quota support.

However, running ./configure --help gives:

...
  --with-quotas Include experimental disk-quota support
  --without-quotas Don't include experimental disk-quota support (default)
...

Is this functionality still considered "experimental", or is that just
a historic thing that needs updating?

Does anyone have any experiences running Samba 2.0.7 with quota
support under Linux that they can share?

Martin
