Large files fail to stream properly !?

Hi there, 

I got a strange problem with big files like 600 MB, streaming from my
samba server. For example if I am burning a CD Image straight from
the Network it hangs after a while and an buffer underrun occurs. An
other example is, when streaming big mpg video files the whole
application freezes, also the samba server and all the things
depending on it.... 

Is this a known problem, where the solution is a simple entry to the
smb.conf ?
