We're about to create a build of Linux for offices our company is opening in
Singapore and Korea. The staff there will be using the appropriate versions
of Word to write in their own language, and I've been asked to check that
Linux will be okay with that.
We don't need the OS to handle anything other than the normal character set
as such, since we'll be administering the servers from here, but I thought
it worth checking that Samba won't need to know anything different to work
when applications are saving files using double-byte character sets etc.
Has anyone had any experience with this?
regards
Ian.
