Homes and %u expansion in SAMBA_2_0

Hi everyone.  With the latest cvs (as of this afternoon) we are getting
the following in the logs:

/home//profile (No such file or directory)

Here's the snippet of the homes section of the smb.conf

[homes]
        comment = Home Directories
        path = /home/%U/profile
        read only = No
        create mask = 0750
        browseable = No
        oplocks = No

Any ideas?
