Problems joining a NT Domain

I have problems to join my samba Server to a NT Domain, when I use a
different netbios name for the host than the Unix hostname.

Here is the error message:

It works if the netbios name is the same as the Unix hostname!

I am using samba 2.0.6 an a Solaris 2.6 machine (compiled with
gcc-2.95.1). I have the same problem with the precompiled samba
distribution (verion 2.0.6) from the samba Web Pages.

Can someone help?
