thanks, dan,

i found out, that i receive binaries! for printing from
WIN98 / NT4.0 clients!
i set the windows printer to RAW and have no idea where those 
binaries come from.
I am new with LINUX/SAMBA/NT, thats a bit much for one time...
the log-file from lpr helped me and the command:
printcommand = cp %s / tmp/tmp.print
in the smb.conf.
i dont want to steal your time, but do you have an idea?

SAMBA ist great, VMWARE too...
