Which DUN tweaks does 98 have, or which have you installed? I had a similar problem Linux <-> 95 w/ DUN 1.3 installed. Performance was glacial on reads, and ftps from linux --> W95. I ended up reinstalling all the networking s/w, and have NOT yet reapplied the DUN fix ( I dont need VPN anymore ), and performance is passable (350-400 K/sec). ED
