If you can telnet to samba server
nmblookup -M -

else I think there is an utility in the nt reskit that do this.

else from a win9x dow box do:
nbtstat -a <name of a pc>
for every pc of your lan till you find the one who registered the 
..__MSBROWSE__.<01>
name
