You may want to check the HKCU\Network\Persistent\ keys (A letter
corresponding to each drive letter mapping) and see who's name is listed in
UserName. This will be the first name that it tries using when it attempts
to map the drive.

Subject: client NT always asks for password

Hello

Our NT workstations always ask for the password on
each share of the samba server, although the password
is the same as the log on password.

Is there any way to avoid this ?

The first try always fails on the server, but I don't
what user/passwd combination NT uses on that first time...

Thanks,
Joao Pagaime
