samba file server not browesable

Hello-

I am trying to set up samba 2.04b with little success.

I've added the server to the domain, set the security to DOMAIN, told it to
encrypt passwords, and set up a share through SWAT

The machine shows up in Network Neighborhood, and is pingable via NETBIOS
name, but when you try to open it, or map to it, you get network path not
found.

What am I missing?
