Connecting to NT shares from Unix system

How does one connect to NT shares from a UNIX box running SAMBA?

Also I am having difficulty joining the Domain. It says that I have
successfully joined the domain, but the WINS information only show the
address as 0.0.0.0. Anyone else see this issue. The Samba server also is
"Grayed" out in the server manager window. Am I doing something wrong?
