MS Access very slow on Samba

to do with NT-Domains, I'll post it here:

increasing the "shared mem size" may help, eg.

	shared mem size = 5242880

the default is 1048576 (1MB). 

I don't know exactly why, but someone told me that he experienced speed
increase with that. As far as I know,  Access does pagewise locking, does that
consume much shared mem in SAMBA?
