Undefined symbol error

[Desmond J Lim]

Hi,

I have this problem,

Whenever I start smbclient (or whatever samba tool) I get this message

smbclient: error in loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/libreadline.so.3:
undefined symbol: BC

What is wrong?

I'm using Linux Kernel 2.2.12
Samba  2.0.6
