SambaServer invisble at WinNT4.0 Client

Hi,

I just setup a samba server at a linux-maschine.
The server will not appear in our (NT)domain-browserlist.
You have to type manualy the whole FQDN (!!),
then you will get the exported resources.

1. Ho can I get the Samba Server browsable in our network-neighborhood?
2. How can I use an alias  - name instead of the FQDN?
