smbclient 2.0.5a Segmentation Fault (core dumped)

Hello All,
 I am having the following problem:

[root at samanea /root]# smbclient //encenillo/E$ XXXXXXX -U backup -W encenillo
Added interface ip=192.168.0.1 bcast=192.168.0.255 nmask=255.255.255.0
Got a positive name query response from 127.0.0.1 ( 192.168.0.5 )
Domain=[WWFCOL] OS=[Windows NT 4.0] Server=[NT LAN Manager 4.0]
smb: \> recurse
directory recursion is now on
smb: \> du
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
[root at samanea /root]#    


The server is Linux 2.2.12 on a Compaq dual processor. The Windows NT share I
am connecting to is on Windows NT workstation SP5, the disk is a 25GB disk with
about 20GB used. The fault does not happen immediately.

What could be the cause of this?
