help - my samba is halting

Hi !

Here`s my configuration:
- Linux (P133 32Mb 2Gb HD RedHat 5.2 kernel 2.2.4, samba 2.0.3)
- 5 Windoze 98 clients

When i copy files from Wind. to samba, my file-server halts. 
I can`t even write anythnig from command line.
Only way out is to switch off the power :(

Any suggestions ?
