My problem was, that overnight after NT-Clients were shutdown or logged
out, all users got the error message, that their password was invalid. A
workaround was to restart samba. But this was unaccaptable.
Version 2.0.4x seems not to produce this problem anymore. Maybe you
should also try 2.0.4b .
Samba is not running as a PDC, but only as server.
