I've set up security = domain. I have 2 errors:

1. I cannot map to a share on the linux PC via name.

I've seen this gid error before in comp.protocols.smb & this list archive,
but I've
never seen any solutions posted. Does anyone know what is causing this. I do
have
shadow passwords enabled.

smb.conf parameters:

workgroup = our-domain
netbios name = <linux HOSTNAME>
security = domain
password server = ourPDC ourBDC
wins server = <IP of our wins server>

smbpasswd -j our-domain produced a success message.
.mac file was created successfully.
.SID file was created successfully.

testparm reports no errors & bdrenni allowed to connect to sharename
