in samba 2, you can set security = domain in smb.conf. and smbpasswd -j <domain> to join a particular NT domain. What are the affected if you have multisamba servers using the same wins entry? ie.. samba1 samba2 samba3, and the netbios name in WINS is sambaserv? and it roundrobins.. thanks joe
