DHCP OK?

Can samba work if the Samba UNIX server has its IP address dynamically assigned by a DHCP
server?
As of now, we have a reserved IP assigned to the UNIX machine, and the NT workstations are
"seeing" it via the LMHOSTS file entry (I believe that is how these machines find the
server).
So, if the address was dynamically assigned, the lmhosts files would no longer be an option.

any help on this is  appreciated-
