Hi Francesc

I had a similar problem for some days ago when I tried to connect to a
machine, running samba2.0.3 and RH52 with the original 2.0.36 kernel, in
my domain by using smbclient. The problem was that samba used some c
functions called setresgid and setresegid. These functions gave the
error signal no matter what input I gave them. But i discovered that
switching to kernel 2.2.3 solved my problem. Try looking in the
sourcefile uid.c and find what functions you are using and see what
output they give you.
