NEWBIE: have domain login, but problems with sharing

Hi,
After some expert help from Benoit Gerrienne I now have domain logins
working.  Or at least STARTUP.BAT runs, so I guess the domain login is ok.

Now I find when I try to share the cdrom on the W9x box that I get a
message saying:
"You cannot view the list of users at this time.  Please try again later."

Can anyone point me in the right direction here, please?

Running Debian slink and Samba 2.0.2.  At the moment the network is just
one W9x box and one Linux box.
