recurse directories buggy?

When I execute the command 'recurse' then 'dir', I should get a recursive listing of all the files and subdirectories on someone's share, correct? I don't know if it's me, or this has been noticed before, but it doesn't recurse properly.  I'm running version 1.9.18p10.
