You mean like:

and then nothing more? Try not sending anything as an attachment. I
believe the list processing software garbles a certain mime-header:
Content-Type: multipart/mixed;

I have mailed:
Errors-To: listproc-errors at samba.anu.edu.au

but so far no reply. Is there anyone else getting blank messages? I'm
starting to get a whole bunch (and only in my 'samba' folder)

smbclient '//lisa/dutchboy' should be the same, and is much less painful 
to write.

There are some info missing. How is that share configured? What kind of
password scheme are you using (encrypted or not?, domain, server, user,
...)

Oh, and the answers to those questions may not help me help you much. 
The only thing I've bothered to share is public areas, but I'm sure that
info can help someone.
