Samba PDC and capitalization is passwords

Hello folks,

Is there a reason why a Samba-PDC can't tolerate capitalization in
passwords?  I'm Running Samba-2.0.3 on a Sparc Ultra10.  I've also
enabled the NIS+ stuff.  Everything works fine...until a user changes
his password to include capital letters.
