smbclient and appending with tar

Hi,

I noticed your post (dated 10/7/1998 re: Smbclient: Backing up Multiple
Windows Disks) while searching the samba site. I have a need to append my
tar files.

Did you obtain a solution to your question of 10/7/1998 regarding how to
tar multiple Windows shares onto the same file ?
