Hello Stephane,

I used these files in this way:

1.) Copy the .dif-file in the main distribution directory
2.) patch < samba-2.0.0.dif
3.) make -f Makefile.Linux compile
4.) make -f Makefile.Linux install

As I just have no Linux-machine available this may be not absolutely correct 
but it should give you an idea.
