Well, it's just a database residing on a file server. So it will only use smb. It's no intelligent database server like an
SQL-server. But still, searching (with and without index) should be faster. With caching it runs really fast, but that is not
save und would only work with one client.

It doesn't matter whether there are 2 or 6 users, no speed difference. There is also an SQL Version of this database, but it
runs only with MS-SQL server. I don't think it will run with a free SQL under Linux.
