I'm running samba 1.9.18p7-2 on a redhat 5.1 machine When I start samba it queries the DNS server - this appears in the DNS server log as XX /192.168.0.82/ip#/A (192.168.0.82 being the IP of the samba server) It is looking up " ip# " - why is it doing this ? Does anyone know how to stop samba doing this ? Thanks
