Connecting on aUNIX share sous Win98

Hi

Sorry guys, but I do have a new problem under Windows 98.
When I want to connect a share which is located, I usually connect like
this

\\nacre\gest2

And then fill the passwd dialog box. Ok with W95 but not with w98 ?
And it's not the problem of encrypted password: I do have applied the reg.
modif.

Anybody has a clue ?
