configure/compile problems Samba 2.0.0

Hi all,

a few weeks ago, I posted a message about configure problems
with Samba 2.0.0 on a SunOs 4.1.x box (don't hit me , it's 4.1.2).

configure ended up with a "bus error" 

Meanwhile I got configure run without any errors using an older
gc version !

Make produced the binaries, (with a lot of redefinition warnings)
nmbd runs but smbd doesn't anything. If I run "smbd -D", no error
messages are produced, but ps shows no running process.

I don't know if the same problem would occur under SunOs 4.1.4 or 4.1.3 
but If anyone knows a source of binaries compiled for these versions
please let me know !!
