Hi!
I just upgraded our Linux production server from 2.0.36 to 2.2.2. This
server is running Samba 2.0.2, and since the upgrade, the nmb log file
is filled with these messages:
[1999/02/24 21:03:44, 0]
nmbd/nmbd_packets.c:process_browse_packet(1040)
process_browse_packet: Discarding datagram from IP 130.151.17.154.
Source name ZEUS<00> is one of our names !
[1999/02/24 21:03:52, 0]
nmbd/nmbd_packets.c:process_browse_packet(1040)
process_browse_packet: Discarding datagram from IP 130.151.17.154.
Source name ZEUS<00> is one of our names !
[1999/02/24 21:03:52, 0]
nmbd/nmbd_packets.c:process_browse_packet(1040)
process_browse_packet: Discarding datagram from IP 130.151.17.154.
Source name ZEUS<00> is one of our names !
These repeat over and over and fill up the log file pretty quickly.
The strange thing is that I did not see these messages with the 2.0.36
kernel.
Zeus is the WINS server and is the master browser for our group
Any idea of what can be causing this?
Thanks,
peloy.-
