SAMBA digest 1978

Hello,

I have a problem with Samba and WinNT. I'm using a SGI (Irix 6.4)
and some WinNT Workstations with SP3. Whenever I try to connect
from a PC I get only guest privileges. I looked through the
log-Files (log level 3) and I see alway things like
connected to service (beier) as user (guest) 
BUt I'm logged in as user beier. 

secutity is set to share and the Workgroups are both
WORKGROUP

PLease give me a hint how I get those Windows-boxes to send
the user name for authentication.
