(Sorry Msg in HTML to allow monospaced font)
I can't get SAMBA to appear in the browse lists for any of the W95 machines
although dialin can see it, but it can't see W95 samba can connect to the W95 machines though.
Here's a topology.
ISDN_INTERNET------------FIREWALL/LINUX_2.0.35/SAMBA------PPP_DIALIN
|
NOVELL NOVELL | LINUX LINUX
-----------------|-----------------------
|
--------------NOVELL---------------------
W95A W95A W95B W95B
Class C private network subnetted into 256 subnets (only 4 used)
Novell does all the IP routing and IPX routing
Servers (other than main) share the same subnet on 1 segment
There are two W95 subnets each on their own segment (ethernet)
W95A can browse W95B, so broadcasts are getting through novell routing.
What am i doing wrong?
here's my config file.....
