Security=USER ?

Well, I'm using the CVS code for Win2K and now have a different problem.

Everytime I try to set a password (encrypted or course) with smbpasswd, I get
"Domain password server not available. Can't setup password database vectors."

Since I'm not using security=server, I have no idea why it thinks it needs to
ask someone else. Shouldn't it simply be talking to itself if anything?
