WinNT vs. Win95 and file performance

WinNT has essentially the same TCP/IP stack as 95/98. What might
affect things are: DUN upgrades to 95 (which change MTU settings),
and the differences in file locking. Also, 95 has had a number
of vredir.vxd "upgrades". Try a newer version, or maybe an old one.

Some of the NT guys (or rather, NT guys who have battled these
problems) might be able to point you at NT specific fixes. I suspect
a file oplocking issue.
