PRINTER$ driver installation problem

I am using the [PRINTER$] share method to automatically install a
printer and its associated driver files to Win95 clients. Unfortunately
from what I can tell, there does not seem to be a way to copy files to
a location other than the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory as the root. Eg.
Copying files to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\COLOR can be accomplished but can
files be copied to the likes of C:\WINDOWS ?
