thanks.

in my case, i can't connect to any shares, browse with smbclient, or get
any output from smbstatus.  always the same error messages in log.smb.
i haven't tried rebuilding samba on solaris 7 yet, although, as i said,
the solaris 2.5 build ran fine on solaris 7 3/99, broke on 5/99.
