Suppressing headers, printing via NT

The NT guys there are a little over-confident.  lpd will take a 'banner
page' argument in the printcap... check the man page for printcap.  If you
used RedHat's printtool to configure the printer though, there may be an
option there.  But I'm willing to bet that's not it -- otherwise the
usernames would come out right.

If you right click on a printer and goto 'properties', under the "General"
tab is a "Separator Page" button.  If you click on that, you'll see the
path to the filename relative to the NT print server hosting that printer
that contains the banner page for the jobs.  You can change this only on
the server (or domain users in the "power users" group, I think also).  If
you leave it blank, no separator page/banner page will be printed. Search
for 'separator page' in the NT help dialog find tab.

It could also be the case, if you have one of the later model HP jetdirect
print servers, that the printer itself is displaying that banner page.
telnet to the printer or use Jet Direct Admin to check that out.
