Win95/98 "harmless" Policy urgently needed

We have encountered problems running Samba in connection with ResNet,
where certain student machines after connecting, have restrictions set on
things we didn't intend to restrict.  Has anyone a flavor of standard.pol 
that will "do no harm" to a large variety of Win95/98 systems.

Alternatively, is there a way to forego the distribution of a CONFIG.POL 
entirely?
