Has smbstatus changed since (Was: SAMBA digest 1845

It seems logical to me that any samba tool would try to find its 
configuration file where it was defined at compile time.
If you don't like it there for whatever reason, you can still place 
a simple smb.conf file there with the one statement:

include = /path/to/your/real/smb.conf
