Hi all !

I am new and novice to this group.
At the moment, I am trying to replace the existing Netware
file server running netware 3.12 by Samba server (or smb ?).

I just simpy use the compiled version of software came with
the Redhat distribution. It does not seem to work fine.
What I am experiencing is when the client machines try to
connect to the server, sometime it can connect, sometime
cannot. When the server refuses, it simply says "No permission
to access".

I further discover that, when I kill the smb server which is
supposed to connect to the client I am using, then the connection
can be established. I have to do this for many machines...
However, if the user has no root access, s/he cannot kill
the server and re-establish the connection.

Could you all please let me know how this problem can be
solved ? Thank you.
