Backup PC with SAMBA

Hello,

on my SGI Indy with IRIX 5.3 I'm using Samba 1.9.18p8.
With the command (example)
   /usr/samba/bin/smbclient \\\\host1\\c -N -TIc backup.tar dir/sub
I make a backup from a directory of my Win95-PC. It works.
But without any change on the PC site, I got different results
(number of files, size) for more backups only with repeating the same
command.
Why?
